RP:Not the best Sunday

When I woke up in the morning I wasn't in a good mood because of all the homework. But then when I turned on my tv to see that the Raiders are getting killed, I was speechless. I mean the Raiders never get killed, they are raw.
I am right here with Rowland on this one! Sunday was just a bad and stressful day for me as well. Just like him when I woke up in the morning, I had tons of homework to do and I could just fell as if it was going to be a bad day, but knowing that the raiders were playing later I was kind of looking forward to the game.
Well, we all by now know what happened to Raiders this Sunday and its embarrassing even talking about it at this point. Even though I have wrote about the raiders for the last like 3 post, I feel as if my point is still not out there lol. I mean they got straight killed!. Its not like it was a good game, or they barely lost, no they got killed! It was very disappointing because coming into this game they had a 8 game division winning streak going on and I would have liked if it would have continued. But just like any other team you got to lose some but its important to bounce back in a positive way. It all starts however with the quarterback.
Kyle Boller? no! Carson Palmer? yes! Even though we witnessed him struggling when he first got into the game, you have to understand he just got back to be playing football, and hes not on course at all with his receivers. Not only that but he only knows a minimum amount of plays which limited him in the game.
Everybody trust me when I say the raiders will be fine this season and will even make the playoffs. Like Hugh Jackson said it himself, he knows what hes doing and everything will turn out OK.

CEP: Raider Probems

Darren McFadden was on crutches, Rolando McClain was in a protective boot and there was plenty of mental anguish to go around as the Raiders spent the first day of their bye week Monday reviewing their face-plant against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Whether McFadden, McClain and others will be back to face the Denver Broncos on Nov. 6 has yet to be determined.
In the wake of a 28-0 home loss to the Chiefs, what everybody agrees on is the need to get Carson Palmer up to speed with the Raiders offense.
In every way, shape, and form the raiders got blown the hell out and things need to change fast. This is not a good sign at all with our leading rusher in the league Darren Mcfadden getting hurt and being on crutches. Not only him but our best middle linebacker is hurt as well and the back up isn't half as good as Rolando McClain. Its a good thing its a bye week because if not we would be in deep trouble. Hopefully, they can change this thing around fast, but in order to do that we need to fix our quarter back problem which is terrible at the moment.
Kyle Boller who started the game for us was just trash! Where is Jamarcus Russcle when you need him? Anyway Kyle Boller got benched in the third quarter and the whole stadium was on there feet when Carson Palmer, our new quarter back, made his debut. However, he didn't do as well as we thought because he wasn't up to speed with the playbook and his receivers. This caused the raiders to only run a certain amount of plays with him in and he was all off with his receivers. He ended up throwing 3 picks and lost a final score of 28-0. I could have played quarter back this game and did better than both of them!
Fortunately its the bye week so the Raiders can fix their problems and get ready for there game against the Denver Broncos next week.

CEP: Another Earthquake!

An earthquake measured at magnitude 4.0 struck the Hayward Fault near Berkeley at 2:41 p.m. today, the U.S. Geological Survey said

Here we go again! Another day and yet another earhtquake. When this one had taken place, I was in math class and I felt it jolt the whole room. Not only was I a litttle nerviouse, the rest of the class was as well even if they dont want to admitt it. Fortunantly, once it was over I was happy it was in the past and I was ready to move on. However, just about and hour an a half ago, a 3.8 earthquake hit just around the same area as the first one. This one however felt a little more rough then the first one even though the first one was a 4.0 and this one a 3.8. Now with all these little earthquakes hopefully it will realese some of the pressure before the big one hits, but you never know. That is why in my opinon everyone needs to be ready before that big one hits.
Myself personally is not prepared but after expericacing these two earthquakes I think its time. Its actually a little weird if you think about it because today throughout the whole state of california, there were earthquake drills through most of the schools, and know it or not two hit today! Here are Some materials that you should try to use is just things like a flashlight, batteries, food, and many more. Hopefully the big one wont strike any time soon, but if it does we all need to be ready.

RP: Raiders

So it started off with the Raiders scoring a touchdown on their first drive with Darren McFadden, extra point follows. Raiders up 7-0.

Ayy me and my boy Doumitt was too juiced at this Raider game! Even though I did not see him at all cause he sat lower than me, the game had the same affect on him as it did on myself. After the Raiders scored on the first drive I pretty much knew the game was over and the Raiders would get this win.
Like you had also quoted, this game meant something more than just a win, instead they were playing for the death of Al Davis. Al Davis died a week prior to Sunday and to get that W would mean the world to him and the entire Raider organization.
Lets get to the highlights of the game shall we! After the Raiders scored on the first possession, the Browns came back and scored a touchdown of there own. However, Jacoby Ford scored a 101 yard kickoff return to the house and got the crowd rocking. Then, probably the play of the night was the fake field goal pass to tight end kevin Boss for a 39 yard touchdown. The browns went ahead and scored one more time and kicked a field goal to make it 24-17. Then right after, the Browns kicked a onside kick and got the ball. Fortunately, the Raiders defense was able to stop them around there forty yard line and got  ball back to win the game 24-17.
All went good as the entire Raider nation went home happy and hopefully enjoyed the rest of there days.

FP: Raider Game AND there Future!

This last sunday I got free tickets to go see the Oakland Raiders play against the Cleveland Browns. Although this game wasn't really hyped up to bet hat big of a game, it was for me because I wanted to see my Oakland Raiders go 4-2 on the season. This is also a crucial game for us because if we when this we will be 1 game back against the San Diego Chargers, who we play in 3 weeks after a bye. So here we go everybody going crazy to see the opening kickoff and get this game away.
The Browns, got the ball first and nothing happened as they went ahead and punted the ball away. The Raiders however, had and excellent first drive, executing on numerous third down occasions and eventually whinding up to score a touchdown with Darren Mcfadden. Unfortunately, the Raiders as an organization took a big lost in the second quarter as we lost our starting quarter back for the remainder of the season. The Raiders went on to win this game but there were questions to be ask on what will happen next for the Oakland Raiders.
A day or so after the game the Raiders contacted Carson Palmer and got him a deal to come play for them. I personally thought this was a great move because hes a better perfienct passer and quarterback then Jason Campbell was. In the end, the Raider Nation just want that Superbowl ring. Like Al Davis would say, "JUST WIN BABY!"

RP: Al Davis

Well Al Davis, the owner and general manager of my beloved Oakland Raiders, is dead and gone. I don't know whether to care or not?
Well Doumitt, even though Al Davis has been messing up the whole Raiders organization these last few years, you still should treat his death like a human and have feelings for him. Saying this, its sad really if anybody dies unless they have done something ridiculous and Al Davis has certainly not; so he should be treated with respect because that's a other human sole that has been lost. However, I do understand what your trying to say with the sports side of it.
There is no doubt in my mind that Al Davivs kind of did the Raiders shady these last couple of years. But all the raider fans including myself, need to look beyond this and see what he has done throughout his entire life as being apart of the NFL. Only back in 2004 the raiders went all the way to the nfl but unfortunately lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and this organization hasn't really been the same since then but now is improving. He also led the raiders to 5 Superbowl appearances and won three of them. Also throughout his career he was a main part of the afl and the other league merging into one.
So if you look at Al Davis these last couple of years then no doubt you would think he ruined the raiders and needed to get fired. But as I said before, he made the nfl what it is today and also like I said you never want to see another human being die and being happy about it; but I do understand what your trying to say!

CEP: Amtrak Incident

KTVU-2 reported that the collision occurred at Webster Street and Embarcadero around 10 p.m., and that at least 18 people had minor injuries. A passenger interviewed by the station said the impact was severe enough to jolt people from their seats and to the floor.

This is not really that big of a concern for the Amtrak trains if you look at it but, it has a more sufficient impact then what you may think. This is already the second major incident in the last two weeks involving Amtrak trains colliding with another object. The one prior was a train hitting a truck parked on the tracks causing severe injury to some of its passengers. This one on the other hand was different, as two trains came encountered with each other on a slight little fender bender. I personally ride trains often and like the whole atmosphere when I do but I do believe there should be some improvements to help peoples safety.
For example, maybe instead of having trains ruining both head on with eacthother, maybe they could copy the Bart system with two trains on two different tracks going in opposite directions. And maybe if possible but I doubt it due to the weight of the train; add breaks that can help the train come to a sudden halt instead of stopping over a period of track! Lastly, but not least maybe the people who control the tracks the trains move on can make sure that there never on the same path to collide and if they are try to be a little more awake at your job and switch them immediately. Hopefully, people may look at some of these suggestions that I'm trying to say and actually try to assume these things.

FP:USC Babby!!

Usc has always been a big dream in school choses to me if I go d-1. Every since I saw my boy Reggie Bush play for them back in the 2005-2006 season I knew this is where I wanted to attend. Usc has always been more of a power house as they played for numerous national championships and won quite of few of them as well. This is referring to mainly when Reggie Bush and Mat Linnert and other top prospects played for them but I'm sure they were raw prior to that point in their history. However, dating back only a couple of seasons ago, Usc had a bad allegation with Reggie Bush. The result of this, the NCAA has banned Usc from bowl games for two years and something else that was very bad.
Because of all these allegations there focus level has not been as sufficient as it should be. And As of today they slipped out of the top 25 in polls and are not really on anybodies radar at the moment. But we do have a couple of games left against quality opponent that we do need to get that W against.
Tonight however, they competed against the university of California and whooped that ass . I was happy to see my team doing well but I already know that's how were suppose to take care of business. So tonight I will enjoy the victory as I write three post in this English class.
All and all being said I hope one day I can take my talents to The University of Southern California and play football for these Trojans!

BC: Steve Quote

The quote stated by Steve jobs is very inspirational to someone like myself. I totally agree with what hes trying to say and I would advise everybody to listen to his point of view on this and try to live it up. I personally would probably have that do whatever I want attitude and have nobody stop me. If I started this process tomorrow, and I would find out I'm a lot stronger then I ever thought of . I would also try to be nice to everyone at every time because I wouldn't want to go out the world with a bad reputation. If other people were ever stuck in life or lost on a darkened path then my advice would simply be follow your heart and that only.
The main reason in which I think this quote really inspires me is because growing up both my mom and dad would tell this to me everyday and encourage me to obied by it. The reason in which I believe I simply would be a dare devil is because all my life long adventures or new things in which I might want to try; I wouldn't want to go out the world not living up to my own expectations. Also I remember in my preschool they would try to lecture us on how tomorrow is not promised, so everyday try to live with no regret. If I could give anybody a piece of advise, I would mirror what I believe and try to preach the exact same thing to others.
When I say "stronger" I don't mean physically but mentally. Abiding by this, I would finally have my mind stronger with my decision making process. It wouldn't always be a hard decision in which I might have to think about to choose, but it would be a easy one because I'll have no regrets about my decision. Another personal thing in which I would incorporate with what I'm saying is always trying to be nicer to people, and to become the best person I can. Because with this might being the last day of my life then  would like to leave a good impression to everybody and the community.
Finally, if ever you correspond with people that may be in the dark, you need to show them the light so they could move on. Even if you need to remind them that tomorrow is not promised and today may be your last so live up how you know, not how your feeling; then do it! Then the important message in which  you want them to receive is that go by what your heart is saying because if go by anything else then nine times out of ten you will be wrong.
Hopefully people could look at Steve Jobs as a person that you should look up to and try and replicate your life like his. He tried everyday to come up with something better and wasn't afraid to do it because he knew he might have not have the chance tomorrow. The people who really look at this quote should really take it to heart and start living your life!

RP: Big week

This week is going to be the homecoming assembly and every student reppin there class color and talking shit. at the end of the day thought they they are all supporting the football team at the game. they'l have the half time prayed and stuff soo im kinda juiced for this coming week. Basically if i do good in that game and get my team that W i really dont care about any other things. i just hope JV and Var win and all go home happy on Friday night.

I am totally on the same bandwagon as my boy Biruk here. This week is probably the most energized and hyped week since the school year started. Everybody and every class will have there own colors and rep there hornet pride for this homecoming week. I myself is also very excited for this week, even though I'm not to crazy with all the face painting and actually going by the colors and right attire that were suppose to wear in order to support our class. Even with so many people focused on building floats and having a good time, but for myself, I need to stay focused on the game this up coming Friday.

With the homecoming assembly Friday at lunch right before our game it will be all laughs and smiles at the assembly .However, right when that bell rings we need to understand the job that we need to get done. With a blowout win last week against not a very strong opponent, this week we play a very fast and tough Pinole valley team who just came off a lost against El Cerrito so you know they will be hungry.

It all starts tomorrow at the first day of practice of this new week. We all need to have a strong week and focus on the task at hand. If we get that win this week, we finally will feel proud of ourselves as a team as we would get our first win against a quality opponent. Hopefully this week and game goes as plan and give everyone who comes to our game something to cheer about.

CEP: Bart Suicide

The man, whose name hasn't been released, jumped onto the tracks at the Colma station around 11:20 p.m. and was hit by an eastbound train, said agency spokeswoman Luna Salaver.
This is really shocking to me when I read this quote and intemperate it into my mind that a man committed suicide on Bart. Since my Dad lives in Hayward, every other weekend I ride Bart and never have I seen or heard of something this extreme. This man obviously had some type of problem with his personal life and decided to cut his life short. Hopefully, his family can overcome this tragedy and move on but it will take a lot of time knowing they just lost a loved one. I personally would advise nobody  to cut there life short no matter what the incident may be because if you believe and try to get out of your predicament, then you will.
In order to prevent something like this happening again, there needs to be some safety features that need to take place. One example would maybe build glass windows around all of the place where you get on Bart and have the doors open when you get in, which will prevent open space for people to co mitt suicide. Also another way to prevent this is not allowing to let people on the upper deck until the train arrives and comes to a complete halt. Finally, they could also have police officers stand on the upper deck with the passengers at all time making sure no one will do something stupid. Just these three little precautionary measures can change the outcome of somebodies life and many more to potentially come.

FP: Berkely Game

Friday nights game vs Berkeley was suppose to be the game where we finally come out and have a break out performance After coming off of a 45-41 point loss to encinal last week, we had the momentum and determination to get that win this week. However it starts with practice and this week was not considered good. Me personally, took two days off because of being sick and I knew that would have an impact on how I might play.
Thursday night was time to get focused at the task at hand for Friday night. After practice we all went down to La Penca to have team dinner, bond, and talk about what each one individually has to do to come out with the outcome we want. One by one we all stood and expressed ourselves how we will make a impact and how WE WILL WIN THIS GAME.
So here we go, Friday night and were all ready for the day to get over to go play this game in Berkeley. Right when school ended we went to the field, caught the bus, and ended up in Berkeley 20 minutes later. However, this game did not go as planned. The first quarter was ok as they came out with a 14-0 lead, but from there on  it went all downhill. The final score was a disastrous  43-0. We all were down and mad but new next week we needed to come out with more intensity to finally get that W over a quality opponent.

What makes a human?

The definitive characteristic of a human being is the way we communicate amongst each other. There are many unique features that separate us humans form other living life forms, but communication in my opinion is the biggest. An example of communication is how many different languages there are and how many people speak different ones.  Another example would be how we use communication with eacth other to understand one another. Finally, over the long spanned of time that humans been on earth, communication can be written down on paper as history so people today can understand what happened during that period of time and the translation of some major books. Over these next couple of paragraphs I will be explaining my theory on why communication is so important.
All across are globe you will see different enithicies and religion of people. What comes with this is the different lifestyles but more importantly the different languages in which they may speak. If you look at animals for an example all of them have the same language in which they talk. A whale has only one sound that they use to communicate with eacthother. Another example is cats who only relate to one another by mowing and nothing else. For humans its different. In china you would see people mostly speaking Chinese. In Mexico, you would probably see the variety of people speaking Spanish. And in America you most often see people speaking English. That's only a couple of countries and already there are three different languages in which humans speak. There are over a thousand of different type of languages and its amazing how people use all of them for us to understand each one. I think its important  to realize how many different people there are and we should all try and get to know each one. This is an important element that makes us humans  "humans." Although there are many different type of languages its important to know how we communicate among eacth other.
Us humans use communication in a different way in which any animal or life form would. For example, dogs communicate by barking at those they perceive as a threat in order to communicate their hostility and in some cases the threat that they will attack if provoked. Dogs can really only use communication in a certain way but us humans have many. One would be verbal communication with others. Verbal communication as of today still is the most important aspect of our communication with eacthother. For an example, if people have a problem between eatchother they can work it out by talking instead of physically beating eacth other and instead end up solving the problem. However, there are many more ways on how we communicate. Non verbal communication has a strong impact on how we interact as well. Think of the people who are blind or cant hear. We can communicate with them by giving sigh langueges or writing words in braille for people who are blind can see. This has more of an impact that you might realize; not only are we communicating with them, if it wasn't for these things these people would feel alone in the world having no interaction with others simply because they cant. Lastly, an affective way to communicate with eacthother is through are body language. People can read others body language simply on there emotions there feeling at that time. For example, if your annoyed with somebody you can simply tell by the demeanor of your body. Another key reason why body language is an important factor of communication is because it gives a way for even the mentally ill or slower people to understand what is going on by how others around them are expressing themselves.  These are only a few reasons how us humans communicate but these are very important ones.
One last important element on what makes a human a "human" is the way we can communicate over time. I'm not talking about verbal or even non verbal communication, but I'm talking about the things that can be written down over time forthe people today can reflect to. I'm talking about history and transformation! If you look at any animal in the world you would see that there is no way possible for them to look back at there beginning of time and learn from it. The reason for this is because they cant write it down on paper for later breeds of today can study and learn. This is what makes a human unique from any different life form out there. An example of this would be world war 1 and world war two. Two extraordinary events that were able to be put down on paper for us today to study and learn. A major example of what I am also trying to say is the transformation of language for the bible. Going way back in time the bible was first not printed in English and made it impossible for most people to understand and read. However, the printing press was formed and made it possible for the bible to be translated into English and made it possible for people to read. This only adds to the ways that us humans can still communicate with eacthother back then, that has an impact on today's life. Many other pieces of history has been written down as well but these are just a couple of examples of the point that I am trying to get across.
Hopefully throughout this entire essay I was able to make clear why communication is the definitive characteristic of a human being. From us being able to speak so many different languages which is un heard of, or how we simply communicate with eacthother is extraordinary or how we are able to write down information over time and translate language; humans are totally unique from any other breathing thing.  Saying this, we hope to continue to use these ways of communication amongst eacthother and maybe even grow to learn new languages in this new era of humans.

RP:Big Game

I am very excited for tomorrow for this is the biggest Alameda football game every year the Island Bowl.

My boy Steven is not lying when he says this is the biggest game of the year for the Alameda hornets. This is the 57th rivalry game between these two teams from the opposite sides of the island, and this year we hope to change the outcome of who will come out victorious. Prior to this meeting, encinal has one four years in a row with games that haven't even really been close. Prior to them winning four years in a row, us the hornets, have won five straight and hope for encinal not to accomplish that goal this year. Once again we are huge underdogs again and we hope to come out and prove everyone who doubted us wrong.
However, a lot of preparation and work has to be put in, in order for us to win. That means hard work at practice, to mental reps at home. By accomplishing just these little things it will help us to come out victorious.
Another reason in my mind that I would like to win this game, is to give our first year head coach a victory against our cross-town rival. Coach Kempt had took over the head varsity coach positon this year as the previous one had gotten kicked out. All in all, I hope to come out with a w, for all my bro's on the team and every one who is doubting us, to see that this years football team is no joke!

CEP:Innocent Troy Davis

All I can say is wow. Supposebly, Troy Davis was accused of the death of an off duty police officer in the state of Georgia. However, eyewitnesses and Troy have firmly said that he was innocent and they were lying because they felt pressured by the police. Even in a time like this, people should stand up and speak the the truth no matter what. " If you tell the truth you wont remember anything"- Mark Twain. This is basically saying if you just tell the truth the first time you wont have those nights of tossing and turning in bed knowing that you have done something wrong and having signs of regret.
Enough about the lying though, and lets talk what really happened. Troy Smith, served 22 years in prison and was sentenced to the death penalty, even had eyewitnesses say he was innocent and DNA samples that never traced him for killing the police officer. Mobs who stood outside of the white house couldn't even change there mind and his own lawyer also said there was no evidence to be found. As some of these people said if he was while things may have been different, but I would would personally not like to look at it like that. The officers mom keeps claiming that there is no doubt in her mind that is him, but she needs to grow up and realize the facts! Troy Smith was then giving the lethal injection dying two days ago. However, I do not know the whole story, and who knows he actually might have been the killer. But at this point right now Georgia has a whole lot of explaining to do on why the executed the wrong person.

FP:Island Bowl

I can honestly say this is going to be the craziest game of my life. I could already picture the fans jumping up and down of there seat with so much enthusiasm and cheering for both the blue and yellow. Two or maybe even Three thousand people are projected to come out and watch this highly anticipated game. Two teams on the same island; one from the east side and one from the west colliding head to head seeing who will come out victorious. Hopefully, it will be AHS who wins back the trophy from Encinal after not beating them for the prior four years. I am literally jumping out of my seat right now as I cant wait till tomorrow night gets here!
However, there are going to be pregame preparations needing to take place if we are going to have a shot to win this game. Fore example, we all are going to need to cut back on the soda and snacks and eat and drink more responsibly. Another key to our success is going to be able to see the game in our mind as we take mental reps try to see the process of whats going to happen on the field. Finally, is believe in ourselves and teammates that we can go out there and get that win, and try not to let the smack talk or anything affect us. All I can say is I'm ready for this game to come as we go out there, give it our all, and come out victorious.

Brave Men

A burning apartment building bursting in flames lighting up the darkened sky. People came hurrying out the house to see whats going on. One witness called the fireman and police who rushed to the scene as fast as possible. Once they got there the witnesses said there were two children stuck on the top floor of a three story building. Two of the brave fireman went into the blazing building; there journey however did not last long. As they approached the second floor, the wood and foundation grew weak and collapsed on the fireman making them trapped and killing the children.
Pitch black, like camping in the woods with no lights. The fireman were hurt and needed an escape route. The way the building fell it surrounded them like a dome.No cracks to breath out of and they were so deep into the rubble there was no sound to be heared. The people could only watch as the fire grew drastically over the whole building. It was only a matter of seconds until these brave men would be gone.
The feeling inside was horrible. There shirts were melting off there skin like a melting ice cube. Left and right sparks would fly right over there head hopping one wouldn't hit them. No air or oxygen was available to breath on. Blisters and wounds were starting to grow all over the skin due to the boiling hot heat. It was so hot they couldn't even think straight as they just wanted to collapse into the cook pot. However a miracle happened, thanks to the fire a chunk of wood that had been keeping them trapped inside was burned. Finally, a sign of life as they seen the so far distant outside world.
Getting out was not as easy as it may have seen. One by one the fireman were pulled out by fellow fireman and the community. Being o so careful not to hit the foundation even more so it wouldn't collapse once again. The tearing of there skin was heared throughout, as they were pulled between tiny cracks and sharp edges. The first fireman was out after about five minutes of rescuing time, and the other waiting right behind. Fortunately, he only had a couple bumps and bruises on his body. However, right after he was freed something terrible had happened. He managed to touch the unstable foundation just enough to make it collapse once more. This timethe second fireman was stuck by himself with nobody by his side.
It was even more dreadful then last time. This time the temperature had grown out of control. It was as if you were in a cave with no flashlights or matches, being cremated alive without asking. His body then evaporated with the rest of the air around him and no remains were found.
A week later the community and fireman held a funeral for this brave man who unfortunately wasn't able to make it. Family members and others were lined up around his coffin in sorrow, crying of the tragedy that had taken place.

Released at Last

Back in 2009 hikers Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal were hiking on the boarder of Iraq and Iran when they were arrested for charges of spying. According to Obama at the time when they working in the middle east they had no information of US intelligence. Right now according to NBC the men will be released in two days, but now according to their lawyer it will not be till the bail is paid, bail which is $500,000 each.

I decided to write a response for T.J's post because its the same thing I was talking about in my current event post. These two men should not have been charged from spying, even coming from Barack Obama himself, saying that they had no information of U.S intelligence. I also understand what Mr. Sutherland was trying to tell me when he committed on my current events post quoting, many people are accused of false accusations and its sad to see that both in the U.S and in Iran. Hopefully people will stop being appointed of false accusations and not taking a chunk out of your life by going to jail.
Back when T.J had wrote this it said they will be released in two days, but just listening to it on the news, new information just informed me that there in court getting the last pair of papers signed. A 500,000 dollar bail for each persons seems allot for something should have never had happened. But whats going to happen when they get home? Will it be for the better or maybe for the worst. For example, will they return and see thousands of people being there and supporting them or will they see people look at them differently now thinking that they really spy's in another country. These question's are just some examples of what may happen. However, hopefully they will return home to friends, supporters, and family and have a emotional good 2return home instead of a bad one.

Finally released!

        U.S Citezens finally realeased!
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said in interviews that Iran would release two US citizens imprisoned for spying in a "couple of days'" on bail, which their lawyer said had been set at $500,000 each.

It is about time that the officials in Iran are finally going to release the two U.S citizens for something they didn't do. This is awful to even think about! Imagine taking an adventure or vacation in another country and get accused of spying, ending up in prison; I know I cant.Well, that's what happened to these two men who were sent to jail for false accusation or what I believe. Barack Obama even said himself, that he didn't hear or know about these to men having any link to U.S intelligence . They have been in prison for months now and were able to get out on a 500,000 dollar bail, which is a lot of money for something that is ridiculous. However, even though its good that there returning home image how much it affected them being away from there loved ones or family members.
Returning home from any trip or vacation is always emotional but image how emotional this is going to be, giving the facts of the situation they were just in. Just seeing your wife or family again will make you break down in tears and tell them how much you miss them. There also may be a bad side. Coming home to your wife that now has another man because she thought you were dead or even your wife having a newborn and you weren't there for it. Hopefully none of this happened to these men as they will hopefully return home to people with much support in them and will be there to comfort them. I'm glad these men were finally released from prison and hopefully in the future there will never be any more false accusations like this.

Tough Times of Football

Last week I was writing about how my football practice was going hard and bad; this week was no exception.Coming off my game Friday night against Northgate, I experienced cramping and even a minor symptom of back spasms. Over the weekend I tried to rest by chilling at the house with some friends playing madden but that didn't seem to help . Monday came and I knew for practice I wouldn't be as affective as I would like but still go out and give it my all.
Practice finally came around 4:30 and I was nervous to a different degree. Not nervous of going out there and competing against others but  nervous about performing at a high level. As being a sophomore on varsity and coming off a solid performance, I didn't want the team or the coaches to think that I was being cocky. That whistle blew and we were off taking our lap around the field. From right then I realized this was going to be a long day.Throughout practice however, my back and legs were feeling fine but that wasn't going to last for long. Just a quarter of the way in I had to stop what I was doing, sit down and strecth. My legs felt like they were going to fall off. Coach came over and asked whats wrong and I told him I am sore and tight. He gave me the look as if I was lying but I just ignored it. He later approached me and said take it easy for today so you don't get injured or hurt. I took his advice as I sat there watching my teammates practice.
Practice was finally over and my mom hurried me to the house. She grab about 5 packets of ice as she poured it into the tub healing my wounds.Hopefully tomorrow will bring forth a better day than today.

The New Era

Wow, 10 years already. OnSeptember 11th, 2001, possibly the most tragic event in the historyof our magnificent country took place. Osama Bin Laden had a plot to highjackairplanes and crash them into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. They succeeded to crash into the WTC but not the Pentagon. This has had a huge impact on how we live our lives today in a more modern era in the United States of America.
I totally agree to what Doumitt is trying to say here. Even though I was only five or six, memories of what I saw on the news and what my parents would say to me rush through my mind every 9/11. I remember hearing how two planes crashed into the twin towers and one was on its wy to the pentagon.Fortunately, the planes destination due to the pentagon was cut short thanks to the brave souls on flight 93. In my mind and many others, 9/11 was the most tragic event that took place on the United States soil.
This last line that Doumitt had wrote really caught my attention as well. Since the 9/11 attack our airport security and the manhunt for terrorist have changed dramasticly. Now our airport security or tsa has improved its equipment for the better. For example, we now have x-ray vision to see if you try to sneak anything onto the plane, and they make us take off our jackets and shoes to see if your cleared to past. Not only has our airport security changed but looking and catching terrorist have also. Since the attack, the American people have been alert to try and find any strange activity to what they might consider terrorist. Also over this past year our navy seals found and shot Osama Bin Laden who directed the attack on 9/11. Hopefully now with all this change in our country, it will go for the better and not the worst!

Terrorist threat

          Another threat by terrorist.
US officials have said they are investigating a credible but unconfirmed threat of a terror strike on the United States reportedly involving bomb-laden trucks ahead of this weekend's 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
This is such an important thing that the people in the U.S should pay attention to. Although it says its unconfirmed, we all seen what terrorist have done before so we need to be prepared. There is going to be thousands of people at ground zero remembering the men and women who perished on that day, so we need to be alert to keep everyone safe.I also like what the authorities are doing to make sure this does not happen. For example, there bringing in more bomb dogs to try and sniff to hopefully find some. Another is watching for illegally parked cars with any concern of suspension. With these procedures taking place hopefully Sunday will be just as smooth as any other one.
I also noticed that the authorities were on a manhunt for 2 of 3 suspects that has entered the country in August and were planning to make an attack with a vehicle laden attached with explosives. This caught my attention even more because I was wondering how easy it is to come into this country and plan out such an attack like this. In my opinon, we need better border control that can hopefully be fixed.
With the large expected crowd to be at hand, security, federal agents, and local authorities need to step up to prevent an attack on such a sad day.Hopefully this Sunday will come and past as a rememerable one instead of it becoming a disaster.

The emotional days of homework and Football

Tonight's football practice was for some odd reason way harder and more emotional then the previous ones this week. Tonight I was cramping up a lot from the workout yesterday and didn't put fourth the effort in which I'm capable of doing. The coaches even where explaining themselves to me that if I want to gain playing time on varsity as a sophomore I would have to put fourth more effort then everyone else. I took there advice and started working harder but I still had that moping attitude as I would sometimes drag myself around from place to place. Practice was finally over and I was headed on my way home when I realized I left my algebra book in the locker and had to go all the way back to get it. Then to cap it all of I remembered that I had an overwhelming amount of homework due tomorrow, so that brought me down even more.
I finally arrived to the house sore as ever and the first thing I did was go into my room to try to get this all done before nine, so I could play the new madden 12. However, my mom called me for dinner around 8 o'clock which delayed me of getting my homework done by 30 minutes. I returned back into my room and was determined to get this all completed still before nine. Fortunately I did, and got to play madden 12 for a good hour. I than went to go take a shower and then went to bed hoping tomorrow would bring forth a better day.

My life journey

There are many unique and interesting features in me that you should find out to get to know me better. I am 6'1 in a half at the age of 15, which is highly unusual since most of my family members are shorter then 6ft. With this height I try to use it to the best of the abilities capable, by playing sports; mostly basketball and football. Even with sports on my mind 24/7, I also have a side of me to be funny and a chill person. Over the years I been able to use these features in me to meet and make more friends that I could ever image. By playing sports, it does however require a buch of traveling and life lesson adventures that I took for the years past. Over these next couple of paragraphs I will be explaining myself, and what I like to do so hopefully you could have a better understanding of who I am.
Sports have been a major role in my fifteen years of life. It all started when I was two by touching a basketball for my very first time. From there on out I new what I wanted to pursue in my future. However, football came to me when I was nine and changed my mind on what I wanted to do. My first year was a huge success as I broke the rushing yards for my Jr.peewee team on the Alameda pirates. As of now I'm focusing and working hard to end up in a d1 college and hopefully maybe to the league.
Throughout my life you might think I'm a serious and compact guy because I like to play sports, but that's the total opposite of who I am. If you ask any of my friends they would tell you I'm both funny and a cool person to chill with.Of being myself and not trying to imitate others I have been able to meet and make many friends throughout my life.
Over the years I have traveled to many states because of sports and I have traveled to many states for life lesson adventures. Most of my sports traveling have been basketball related but lately its been football and life lesson trips. Just last year in February my close four friends and I took a trip to the Superbowl to go sale and work. This taught us both how to make money and grow up as men. Also during this summer I was selected to a football camp in Oklahoma to compete against the best in the nation. This taught me alot of work I would have to put in to make it to the next level.
Throughout this you have gained a bunch of knowledge of me and what my goals are in my future. But even though there is goals in life, I also have some in writing I would like to share. For example, one is not boring the reader throughout my essay. Another is getting all my punctuations and grammar correct. Finally, I would like to be able to picture writing to be fun and not so boring. Working on these goals in writing will hopefully let me become a more officiant writer.Hopefully this column of myself has helped in a buch of ways by you getting to know who I am and what I would like to be able to become.
